Mesotherapy for fat and cellulite reduction is an aesthetic medical treatment. Surgeons inject a specially prepared cocktail of vitamins, homoeopathic ingredients, amino acids and medications. They select problem areas that are resistant to diet and exercise for infusion. To clarify, vitamins and amino acids tighten sagging skin. Besides, other agents remove areas of fat. Further, kidneys and the bowel excrete that dissolved fat with the help of the bloodstream.

Lipolysis is a process of breaking down the underlying fat membrane through injections of naturally occurring proteins and enzymes

Mesotherapy can be an effective treatment to remove pockets of fat on
  • the face (reduction of lower eyelid pads, double chin and jowl areas),
  • neck,
  • axillary folds,
  • back rolls,
  • "saddlebags",
  • inner and upper arms,
  • inner and outer thighs,
  • the region above the knee.
Mesotherapy is also suitable for stubborn fat, lipomas, body sculpting, and defining body contours. However, some swelling, redness, and bruising to the injection site may occur. Those may last a few days but could be helped by applying a cold compress, using support garments, and taking mild painkillers like Paracetamol. For optimal results, it is advisable to have eight to ten lipolysis sessions every other week. One session may last up to sixty minutes.

    I went to Parkland Health Clinic for a mesotherapy session. The clinic is conveniently located in Central London, with easy access from my workplace. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the therapist who explained to me the treatment in full before she started with the procedure. The therapist then tried a few techniques until she found one that would best suit me. i am now planning to come back before the end of the year.*
